These terms & conditions are for markets held at any of our venues. Please note specific terms & conditions below for individual venues when appropriate.
All stalls must be approved before booking. We can reserve your stall for only a few days, but full payment is required to fully book your market stall. Once approved, we will email you an invoice to confirm your stall.
Sometimes we will offer a deposit payment option to reserve your stall for a longer period of time, before full payment is required to fully book your stall.
Please note that Vindie Market stalls sell-out quickly, so if your invoice remains unpaid – we will offer your space to the waiting list of stalls.
Refunds can be provided depending on when you may cancel:
- 100% credit if you postpone your stall to another Vindie event
- 50% refund 2 weeks before
- 25% refund 1 week before
- No refund after this sorry!
If Vindie cancelled the event for whatever reason, then you will be refunded. The decision to cancel belongs solely to Vindie Markets.
Fremantle Food Stalls
Fremantle Stallholders serving food will need a Temporary Food Stall License from the City of Fremantle. To get your license to sell food in Fremantle you will need to fill in the form and pay $110.20 to the City of Fremantle which gives you twelves months of license. Download the form here.
You will need to present your approved Temporary Food Stall license to us to complete your application for Vindie markets.
thin the City of Fremantle (including Mad Hatter, Growers and Bathers Beach Markets) require approval from our Environmental Health Services team. All stallholders must notify or register with the City of Fremantle by completing the temporary food stall application form. Our temporary food stall licence is valid for one year and licence holders may use their temporary food stall licence to trade at multiple ongoing markets or events (provided the organisers consent has been obtained).
Vindie Markets generally go ahead rain, hail or shine. Well maybe not hail! Often you need to force the good weather by turning up with a smile on your face!
We may decide to cancel a market in the event of dangerous weather. You will be notified by mobile (call or SMS) as soon as possible. If the event can be postponed, you will be offered a full credit for the new event date, otherwise a refund will be offered.
Theft or Damage
All care is taken to prevent theft and damage to products at your stall, however we will take no responsibility if items go missing – which is extremely rare. You are responsible for minding your stall at all times. We recommend getting to know your stallholder neighbours, and perhaps bringing a friend to keep you company on the day.
Parking & Setup
We recommend starting setup of your stall at least one hour prior to the market opening time. Expect delays with traffic as other stalls will also be loading at the same time. Most stallholders prefer to drop-off their stall and stock at the venue, to then park their car nearby. We will have Vindie staff to assist you unload where possible, but we fully recommend bringing a spare pair of hands to keep the traffic flowing.
West End QLD: Limited street parking around the area. Unload your stall and stock at the Rumpus Room venue, before finding a park nearby. Come early for the better parks in the centre of West End.
Fremantle WA: Cars are not permitted on the grass! We have two loading zones in the driveways on either side of Clancy’s Fish Pub on Cantonment Street. Come early to allow for traffic congestion from stallholders. Limited street parking around the block, and parking lots are nearby on Adelaide Street and at the Woolstores.
Packup & Cleanup
We’d appreciate a hand keeping the venue clean & tidy. Please be mindful to keep your area as clean as you found it so we can get invited back to each venue for more markets!
For the best market experience for everyone, you are required to keep your stall open until closing time. See your Market Manager if you have special requirements.
While the venue has it’s own public liability insurance, you are responsible for all insurance relating to your stall and stock.
