With strict ethical guidelines. emma&lee only collobarate with businesses that have a level of transparency in the treatment of their workers and the quality of their products. emma&lee are proud to contribute to fair trade manufacturing, former tibetan refugee workers and womens workshops in Nepal, Thailand, Romania and Turkey. With further discussions in place with locals in India, Macedonia and other areas within Asia & Europe, we are open to custom design requests and will continue to display an expanding collection.Emily Day is the creator of emma&lee and has a background in design and sustainability. As well as sourcing and designing products made abroad, the collection also involves her modification, creation and upcycling of materials here in Brisbane. Essentially, emma&lee aims to provide ethical, handmade products made by artisans under a fair trade agreement that do not harm nature in any process. The use of plastic, glues and chemicals are very limited, as is any wasteful packaging. If you have any quieries or custom designs of colours, the emma&lee family are always ready for a challenge.Happy [ethical] shopping!
